The great thing about bullet journaling is that it can be completely what you want it to be. I tend to go simple, but lately I’ve been experimenting a bit. Here are some of my favorite bullet journaling supplies.
Leuchtturm 1917 notebook
This is my very favorite notebook I’ve tried. I love the dotted version.
(People ask me how this book compares to a Moleskine of similar size and it is slightly wider, which I like. It also has an index in front, numbered pages, and 2 bookmarks instead of one.)
Staedtler Triplus Fineliners
These don’t bleed through the pages of the Leuchtturm, and they fit nicely in the Leuchtturm pen loop.
Leuchtturm Pen Loop
I love this handy little pen loop.
These don’t bleed through, and the brush ends are fun!
Pilot Precise V5 RT Pens
These are great for fine lettering and small spaces.
Washi Tape
Great for creating borders, dividers, bookmarks, tabs and more.
Fun Paper Clips
Great for marking pages and holding “collections” together. And because cats. Or penguins.
Pentel Aquash Water Brush
I use these primarily for making boxes and borders and occasionally for lettering (when I am feeling brave!)
Pentel Arts Water Colors
This set is great for beginners.
Water Color Mixing Tray
You need a sweet mixing tray because you are fancy now!
