Hey super spy! Ready to save the day?
(And by ‘save the day,’ I mean add some FUN to your homeschool while working on puzzles, codes and problem solving with your kiddos?)
Well have I got the book for you!
It’s my Spy Book e-book, and it’s based on a class I taught at
our co-op last year.
It was SO MUCH FUN, you guys! I just loved every minute of it, and I feel like the kinds really enjoyed it too!
So I’ve put everything together into a handy ebook for you, for the bargain price of just $4.99!
Now, I taught this as a 4-week class to 7-10-year-olds, but you don’t have to do it that way!
It would absolutely work as a fun unit study!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does this need to be a co-op class? Can I do it at home?
You can absolutely do this at home! You can do it at VBS, at a playdate, a birthday party – you can round up some random kids at your nearby park (just don’t be weird about it.) Although it was great to teach this to kids at our co-op, I would have absolutely done this at home with my own kids as a unit study!
What ages do you recommend this book for?
Our co-op class had kids who were 7 to 10 years old. That seemed to be a very good fit for the material. But a wider age-range could work as well … especially if the kids in question are good with puzzles and codes.
What kind of space is required?
We met primarily at a table for this class, but we also utilized a long hallway for the laser maze, and it was nice to have additional space (outside of a classroom) for a few of the scavenger hunt-type activities.
This class could certainly be done in a home.
Do I need more than 1 adult?
The last week of class, it’s nice to have more adults available as “suspects.” I asked a few fellow teachers who did not have classes during that period to be part of things and they readily agreed!
BUT, if you are doing this at home, you can collect information ahead of time by asking family members, friends or neighbors to contribute “clues.”
Does this have to be a 4-week class?
Nope! I designed it that way because that’s what worked for our co-op. But you could make things longer or shorter depending on your needs and the time allotted. You could definitely just do one activity per week or space things out however it works best for you at home.
What supplies do we need?
I’m glad you asked. You need spy gear, of course! Plus a few other fun things. To see a complete list, click here.
